Last weekend was Renegade Craft Fair in downtown Los Angeles, and the official launch of "My JetSetter life." This had been on the calendar for a few months and the reason LA was picked to be the first to launch in the My JetSetter Life series.
Renegade Craft Fair was founded in 2003 and is the largest and most far-reaching of craft fairs with an average 250,000 people attending annually. Shows take place in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Austin, Chicago, New York and London. The fair is well curated, and showcases the best in DIY-ers, crafters and artisans. Vendors include jewelry design, ceramics, paper goods, lighting, housewares and more.
I was very fortunate enough to share the booth with the amazing and talented Knotty Co. who makes and sell's bow ties from up-cycled fabrics, that used to be all kinds of wonderful vintage things including Japanese kimonos and midwestern moo moo's.
Despite the extreme heat over the weekend it was a successful show, and was great to hear customers feedback and see their reaction to the illustration and art that supports the "My JetSetter Life" city guide.
The "My JetSetter Life" store is now available on Etsy where you can purchase the fold up city guide for Los Angeles along with postcards and art prints inspired by the LA series. Lookout for new artwork arriving soon, along with the second city guide in the series for San Francisco.
