Viceroy Miami

Happy New year! I can't believe it's been almost two years since I launched My JetSetter Life! Where has the time gone? The last 6 months have been so crazy. I purchased my first house house in July and have been non stop renovating... gut renovating. It was in a pretty bad state, mainly just cosmetic, but it's finally starting to take shape and allowing me a little more time to focus back here (I'll hopefully find time soon to add some before and after shots of the project.)

For those that may have missed the completed Viceroy project which I worked on last Summer, here are the final illustrations that were used in their "Some Like it Hot" Summer campaign. I've also included some photo's which were taken outside the entrance of the hotel and in the Restaurant 15th and Vine where four of the pieces were enlarged onto columns.

Palm Springs Style Magazine

I was very excited to arrive home on Saturday after my recent adventures to Iceland and Boston (more to follow on that soon..) and receive the latest issue of Palm Springs Style magazine. I recently worked with the Founder and Editor in Chief Katy Carrier, to illustrate the 2015 Coachella festival line up especially for the magazine, which features interviews with some of the festival bands and cover star Maria and the Diamonds.

Happy one year Anniversary

I've barely had time to blink, yet how can a whole year pass by already? What a whirlwind! Little did I think last April, that My JetSetter life would come so far. What started out as a little idea to build my illustration portfolio, whilst combining my love of travel and vintage travel posters, has now started to grow and open doors.

Last year the Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills used one of my illustrations for an event they were hosting, which has developed into a very exciting collaboration with the Viceroy Miami (stay tuned, as there's more to follow on that soon). A fantastic shoutout from LA designers Trina Turk and Mr Turk for some of my illustrations for their Spring 2015 collection. My JetSetter Life maps and illustrations are now being sold in their first store at Local Take San Francisco in the Castro, and a poster I designed for Palm Springs Style, inspired by the Coachella music festival will feature in their second issue of Palm Springs Style magazine.

Beautiful illustrations don't just magically happen on their own (I wish they did!) Lot's of late nights and weekends are spent concepting, sketching and trying out lot's of ideas to reach the final finished pieces. Here are just a few of the behind the scene shot's from last February and April, leading up to My JetSetter's life debut.

Thank You to everyone for your love and support, and thanks for following xx

Cheers!
